How do I sign up?
To enroll as a walker please proceed to the Registration icon, and complete the registration form. You will then be prompted to create your own pledge page or download a pledge form.  If you would prefer not to create an online pledge page, please proceed to the Download Pledge Form icon.

Is there a Registration fee?
Yes. Each participant must pledge themselves a $20.00 registration fee, which is not tax receiptable.
Please note that parents and support workers do not need to register to walk with their Walk a Mile in My Shoe participant.

Online Pledge: 
Once you have enrolled a secured webpage will be set up in your name and this will enable you to continue your pledge drive. Tax receipts will be issued as pledges are placed.

Downloadable Pledge Form: 
When you download your pledge form please fill in and submit the registration portion of the form and then you can begin pledging, collecting the monies as you go.  On the day of the walk, you will be required to submit your pledge form and monies raised, to a Reach for the Rainbow staff member at the check in.

Where will these funds go?
The funds raised from Walk a Mile in My Shoe will support Reach for the Rainbow and its participating partner camps.
 
What is my responsibility as a participant?
Each walker is first and foremost an ambassador for Reach for the Rainbow who solicits support by raising pledges from their network of family, friends and business associates.
 
What kind of pledge amounts am I seeking?
No gift is too small or too large.  
 
Will I have any help?
Yes, the RFTR team will help in any way they can. Ask us for anything else we need to do to ensure your success!

Tax Receipts: 
Online - All individuals or corporations making a donation to the Walk a Mile in My Shoe pledge event are eligible to receive a tax receipt for 100% of their contribution via e-mail within one hour of completing the donation process.

Pledge Form – All individuals or corporations making a donation to the Walk a Mile in My Shoe pledge event are eligible to receive a tax receipt for 100% of their contribution when a pledge is made for $20.00 or more.  Tax receipts will be issued by Reach for the Rainbow and will be sent via regular mail.
