Reach for the Rainbow

Reach for the Rainbow is 100% self-funded, i.e. we do not receive government support, nor are we funded by agencies like The United Way. Reach for the Rainbow must continually raise funds to sustain our integrated programs and promote program expansion to address our ever-growing wait-list.

Fundraising takes many forms at Reach for the Rainbow. Funds are solicited from service groups, foundations, corporations (both cash solicitations and product donations), as well as directly from individuals.

Reach for the Rainbow's main fundraising activity is special events. The Fundraising Department strives to produce events that are exciting and entertaining for participants. Reach for the Rainbow makes every effort to develop long-term partnerships with the corporations who support us with event sponsorships, product donations and other contributions. Such partnerships maximize exposure and create a strong alliance with mutually beneficial outcomes.
